Localization
Use the built-in English or Japanese tray messages, or override the copy your product needs.
The tray ships complete English (en) and Japanese (ja) catalogs. Set
locale to switch catalog, and messages to override individual strings.
<EazipTray locale="ja" />The active locale controls titles, status text, actions, plural forms, and number formatting across every tray state.
Override selected messages
Pass only the strings your product needs to change:
<EazipTray
locale="en"
messages={{
download: 'Save ZIP',
downloadReadyTitle: 'Your export is ready',
processingDescription: (filesTotal) =>
`Packing ${filesTotal} files…`,
}}
/>Unspecified messages continue to use the selected built-in locale. Function messages retain typed parameters for counts and formatted values.
Start a new catalog
Use an existing exported catalog as the fallback, then override the messages you have translated:
import {
en,
type EazipTrayMessages,
} from '@eazip/react';
const fr: EazipTrayMessages = {
...en,
download: 'Télécharger',
downloadReadyTitle: 'Téléchargement prêt',
};Pass the resulting object through the messages prop. For a headless UI, reuse
the same catalog types or supply messages through your own localization system.
See the React Reference for the locale and message prop types.
